Media Work

Tom is a rising TV star in the wine world, and has brought his dynamic presenting style to television, online TV, radio and podcasts, and even a wine app. His appearances have included ITV's Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh, presenting different wines and other beverages, and ITV's This Morning, pairing wines alongside food from celebrity chefs. Equally at home with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks on screen, Tom is a versatile booking for today's broadcast schedule.

In 2026, Tom launched 'Oz & Tom's English Wine Heroes' with Oz Clarke. Longtime friends and collaborators, together Tom & Oz are tasting the widest array of English wines ever compiled, providing their recommendations for consumers on social media and in an annual booklet.

Writing Work

An experienced wine writer, Tom has written numerous articles for a variety of magazines and papers. His debut book, How to Drink Wine, was published in August 2024. A modern, accessible guide to wine written with Tom's trademark irreverence and warm personality, it gives readers in-depth insight into the fundamentals of wine – how it's made, how to choose in a shop, navigate a wine list, what to eat with it, and how to avoid hangovers. It is essential reading for today's wine enjoyer, whatever their experience level.

No & Low Alcohol – Parched

Alongside his wine work, Tom has become one of the UK's leading voices on non-alcoholic drinks, advocating that a non-alcoholic option needn't be any less exciting, flavourful or creative than its alcoholic counterpart. He is the founder of Parched, the UK's largest trade and consumer non-alcoholic drinks event, and regularly hosts both fully non-alcoholic and mixed alc/non-alc tastings on screen and at events – pairing wines alongside non-alcoholic drinks in a way that feels seamless to today's audience.
