My Mini Bakes is the brainchild of a creative entrepreneur who is a trained graphic designer. She studied Design & Art Direction at Manchester Metropolitan University, which laid the foundation for her career in both graphic design and web analysis.
In 2015, she started her own online gifting business however, when the pandemic hit, her business suffered a blow. In response, she ventured into the world of social media by creating a TikTok account showcasing miniature food and recipes in a fully functional miniature kitchen studio created at her home in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Although this initially started as a fun hobby, her engaging content quickly struck a chord with audiences and within just nine months, she reached an impressive milestone of 1 million followers. This success led her to expand her presence across multiple platforms, and today, My Mini Bakes boasts over 5 million followers across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Snapchat.
My Mini Bakes has attracted the attention of several global brands and has led to numerous collaborations and brand partnerships, including Disney Marvel, Walkers, PayPal, Amazon Alexa, Bluey (TV Show where she recreated the show's kitchen for a miniature version of Beans on Toast), L’Oréal (Created a miniature ombré buttercream cake and then some macaroons), McDonald's, Google Pixel, Vapiano and Keurig. Other notable collaborations include General Mills, Zuru, Trainline, Taco Bell, Mini Brands, LOL, Smyths Toys, BBC Studios, and many more.
My Mini Bakes has been recognised for its incredible design skill and in 2024 was a finalist for the RØDE Creator of the Year awards and recently has made the shortlist for Best Social Creator for the Amplify X New Voices Award. Mini’s creator has been chosen for the BBC Creator Lab Initiative and is also the Guinness World Record Holder for assembling 20 miniature burgers in under 2 minutes in Milan on the set of Lo Show dei Record in 2023.
My Mini Bakes has featured on popular television programs, including CBBC Saturday Morning Mash Up and Lo Show dei Record (Italian TV) – where she set her Guinness World Record.
