Daniel Browne—better known as Mr Groove—is a dynamic dance-fitness innovator, and social media creator.
A professional dancer with a BA degree Dance and Fitness, Daniel launched his business Groove Aerobics in 2015, fusing high-energy choreography with infectious music and a dose of charisma. Daniel's classes run regularly across the UK and he also takes his classes to other countries throughout the year, in particular the USA. Daniel then progressed in person sessions into a dance fitness movement across several social media platforms. His work sits at the intersection of dance, wellness and performance with music ranging from Tina Turner and Michael Jackson to Bruno Mars, appealing to all ages and fitness levels.
During lockdown, Daniel quickly pivoted his business to streaming virtual classes via Facebook Live, often featuring his family, and attracted a global audience across the USA, Canada, Australia, Europe, and beyond. On Facebook, Mr Groove now has a dedicated following of over 600,00 with a further 385,000 followers on Instagram with strong engagement and steady monthly growth driven by his infectious energy and daily content that combines dance, humour, and genuine encouragement. His YouTube channel offers choreography breakdowns, class highlights, and behind-the-scenes moments that reflect his vibrant personality.
Having a degree that comprises Physiology, Anatomy and Biomechanics, alongside a professional career in dance has allowed Daniel to formulate a beautiful balance of hiding science in joyful movement.‘Think less, move more.’Though his main choice of movement is dance, Daniel likes to think of himself as someone that represents those who are looking for different ways to be active and healthy. Life is all about finding YOUR groove.
At the heart of everything Daniel does—whether on social media, on stage, or in the studio—is a clear, consistent message: fitness should be fun, accessible, and inclusive. He’s on a mission to get people of all ages and abilities moving. His in-person events, like the upcoming “Get In The Groove” at Oxford’s O₂ Academy in July 2025, are electric celebrations of movement and community. With a magnetic stage presence, unwavering positivity, and a family-centred, feel-good ethos, Mr Groove is redefining what it means to be a fitness influencer in the modern age—making movement joyful, empowering, and truly for everyone.
